Kech, which is situated in the bank of Kech river, is the second biggest district of Balochistan in terms of population and it is a prepossessing district of Mekran division but it hurts me to state that the grounds of Kech are in deplorable conditions owing to non-interest and non-attention of the government.
Moreover, sport plays a momentous role in making people healthy and it is beautifully quoted that “Leaders are the product of grounds not classrooms.” It is limpid from this quotation that sports are radical for all in sundry. Additionally, Kech players are playing on the grounds which are full of big stones, unbalanced ground and they lack facilities despite the unavailability of facilities the youth of Kech are playing with pleasure. It is the naïve perception of the government that Baloch does not know how to play and they are not given opportunities to be part of the national team. As compared to other provinces’ grounds, we are deprived of grounds and other facilities. The sports officers are enjoying the budget and other benefits of sports. I request the government of Balochistan and concerned authorities to take stern and pragmatic steps to facilitate the youth of Kech because Youths are the opinion-makers and backbone of the nation.ShahJan Fida
