Kech is the second biggest district of Balochistan in terms of population according to the recent census and Turbat city is very much crowded because other areas of people have migrated to Turbat city owing to deteriorated law and order situations.
Moreover, numerous Quetta to Turbat bus transports exist in the Turbat city main road i.e., Al-Maqbool Transport, Al- Rauf Transport, Al-Safeer, Al-Abraaz, and Mushtarika Transport through these transports have offices in the terminal yet the aforementioned transports are not shifted, hence public at large is suffering to a great extent.
Furthermore, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch visionary leader, former Chief Minister of Balochistan got established a prepossessing and a huge bus terminal in Kech and widen the all main roads of Turbat City in order to facilitate the transporters and for reducing the vehicles rush in the city; in addition, other all transports got shifted after completion of terminal work but the above-mentioned transports still exist in the city crowded area.
Most importantly, Kech all private hospitals exist in one street i.e, Kech Hospital, Baloch Hospital, Turbat Hospital, and National Medical Hospital. Kech main road is already crowded and these transports are adjacent to this street where the patients face manifold difficulties and multifarious patients demised due to traffic jams and high rush.
Despite this, the students, Passengers, and general public have complained multifarious times for bad behavior of the transporters but all in vain.
Besides these bus transports other ten van transports of Gwader and Pasni also exist in the main road of the city.
As Umer Jan Advocate said that he has written a letter to Secretary Road Traffic Authority (RTA) for shifting all bus and van transports to bus terminal for the best interest of the general public if the reservations do not redressed soon he will file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court of Balochistan.
Nevertheless, Quetta transports bus drivers drive the bus extremely fast and recklessly and misbehave with the passenger specially Al-Rauf transport; in addition, they do not do any concession with the students and disabled as well.
I request the Secretary Road Traffic Authority to take pragmatic and stern measures for shifting the all bus transports to the bus terminal in order to reduce the rush and high traffic in the city.
