Mir Chakar Rind

Mir Chakar Rind was born in 1468 in Ashaal Kolowa, Kech, Balochistan. His father's name was Mir Shehaq Rind. He became chief of the Rind tribe at the age of 18 after the death of his father, Mir Shehaq Rand. The fiefdom of Mir Chakar was short-lived due to the civil war between the Lashari and Rind tribes of Balochistan. Mir Chakar was a very brave man who wanted to make the Baloch nation strong.

When Mir Chakar came out of the trenches, his next stop was Sanghar Desert, in Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan. He ruled the Sanghar region for many years. No one can defeat Mir Chakar and his army until Mir Doda Khan arrives with his army. Although Mir Chakar had defeated Mir Doda once before, Mir Doda froze badly. Mir Doda Khan defeated Mir Chakar in the desert of Sanghar, after which Mir Chakar and his army left Sanghar and went to the Multan area where he shook hands with the king of Multan. The best fighters of Mir Chakar were Mir Malagh Rind,Mir Qaiser Khan, Mir Sanjar Khan and Mir Mandar Khan. Mir Chakkar and King of Multan planned to invade Delhi.

The king of Multan sought the help of Mir Chakar, and he gave him his best warrior. The lashkar was led by Mir Malag Khan and Mir Qaiser Khan, who went and conquered Delhi. Mir Doda, on the other hand, Mir Duda was gaining strength. The king of Multan invited Mir Doda to dinner. When Mir Doda came, the king of Multan said that from then on it would be his left hand. Mir Chakar became angry and intended to attack Mir Doda.In the battle, Mir Doda was severely defeated and his people and army moved to Sindh and never returned. Near the Sangar Desert, he built 100 homes for his relatives to live in, and named the place Sokar which is now part of Taunsa.

Sher Shah Suri sent a message to Mir Chakar to unite with him and  integrate his benefits. Mir Chakar appreciated the offer but refused to help Sher Shah Suri. Under the leadership of his son Mir Shahdad Khan, his troops instead joined the Mughal army of Emperor Humayun in 1555.Emperor Humayun returned and recaptured Delhi, and in 1556 ousted the Suri Empire. As a reward, Emperor Humayun bestowed on Mir Chakar a vast estate, including horses and slaves. He ruled the area until his death in 1565. Those who went to Satghara with Mir Chakar after leaving Balochistan built a grave for his body.
