Chahsar is one the most eminent place of Turbat city which is in Union Council Malikabad and it is a populated area of Turbat but it hurts me to mention that nowadays Municipal corporation's workers are showing flimsy pretext for cleaning the garbages of Chahsar including entire Kech.
Moreover, Kech is the 2nd biggest district of Balochistan according to population but Municipal corporation's workers are less & they are very weak to work properly. Sometimes you can see that they are working but most of the time they can not be seen. It means they skip manifold days for cleaning the areas. Additionally, Chahsar's most of the streets are dirty owing to garbages. The workers of the Municipal corporation do not come a day in and day out even though the people have complained numerous times but the Chief Officer is not heading towards it. Most Importantly, Municipal Corporation Turbat was functional before under the leadership of former Mayor Qazi Ghulam Rasool who worked day and day out to get Turbat City cleaned; in addition, Turbat Municipal Corporation got the first position for cleanliness thrice in entire Balochistan due to Qazi Ghulam Rasool's hard work and sincere efforts, no doubt he was a stalwart, committed, and honest person but nowadays there is no cleanliness and there is nobody to ask them. Furthermore, there are no dustbins for garbages and Municipal Corporation neither bothers to pick the garbages and the People are compelled to ablaze the garbages openly owing to which environment can be affected because of burning garbages the ozone layer also gets affected and people can be affected from numerous diseases such as skin cancer, or other some diseases. I request the secretary of Local government to direct Chief Officer to take some concrete and pragmatic steps to clean the garbages in our area.Mairaj Shahzai
